Kevin Wolf

Kevin Wolf is a filmmaker from Columbus, Ohio, who studied directing at Chapman University and now splits his time between San Diego and Maui, Hawaii.

His work has taken him to all seven continents—twice—filming in environments ranging from underwater to aerial, and along the way he’s been fortunate to collaborate with people like Kai Lenny, MrBeast, Aman Hotels, Richard Branson, Kamaru Usman, and Harvard Business School.

Kevin is most at home behind the camera, whether shooting, editing, flying drones, or capturing waves, and he draws inspiration from surfing, skating, scuba diving, and playing guitar. Through his company Escape Velocity, he focuses on telling stories that celebrate adventure, connection, and the beauty of the world.

Sam Wickert

Sam Wickert is a director and VFX supervisor who has produced content for clients such as Epic Games, Google Daydream, AMD, Blackmagic Design, Universal Orlando Resorts, Red Bull, and Discover. He founded the YouTube channel SOKRISPYMEDIA, which has grown to over 3.1 million subscribers and 750+ million views, best known for the viral web series Chalk Warfare.

Sam and his team have a close working relationship with the hit YouTuber MrBeast, having delivered VFX for dozens of his videos—including the record-breaking “Squid Game Recreation”, which became the most-viewed YouTube video in a single week. The entire production was completed within a demanding 10-day turnaround. His team also regularly creates visual effects and marketing content for MrBeast’s Feastables chocolate brand.

In television, Sam led the development of a remote pre-visualization pipeline for HBO’s The Last of Us (Season 1) during the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling real-time collaboration on some of the show’s most complex sequences. This innovative work was published as part of a SIGGRAPH 2023 paper.
